Thanks to Sherbet our Mothers Day run was a great success:

We gathered at Peace Park in Sandgate, another new area for the SH3 Inc pack

Sherbet had a down down  - as she had lead us around the Third Lagoon, mosquito capital of SE Queensland we gave her down down of quinine.

Our representatives to Nash Hash all had a down down and then we tucked into a very tasty veg curry and finest chicken, thanks Sherbet it was a fun evening

There will be songs sung that you should not miss, be sure to join in, and on our last run:

We gathered at a new site - Surry Farm Park picnic area. The trail was along forested streams and up and down through the State forests of Bunya

It did not take long before we had a down down. Checks successfully kept the runners and walkers together, which was just as well because Tess was on holiday.

Thank go to VD for running the shout up and to Stubby and Schnapps for setting the run, as usual Hash songs were provided by Flower so there was lots of laughter as well

Stubby and Marlin were awarded down downs

Schnapps made the Hash special wraps of chicken or tuna with fresh herbs from the garden and her own home made chilly jam. Marlin said that it was the best tuna he had ever tasted - now that's some recommendation because he has been causing around the Pacific Ocean for some 30 years (before being reincarnated as a Hasher) and he has snacked on a tuna or two! Thank you all.

Your Hares: Stubby and Schnapps

INSTRUCTIONS - This is a dog friendly Hash run, please bring your walking sticks, wheelchairs (its very flat) and CHAIRS to relax in later.

and on our last run:

Skidmark and Sherpa take a down down. We had all met at Brush Box on Mt Coot-tha. Our Hares led us along some new trails (because we had forgotten we'd been there before) to some very dry water holes, through and over some very dry streams and on back home. Checks were good and caught just about everybody out.   

Baggins brought his newest toy to the Hash and strapped Stubby into it. Baggins filled the glass with nectar and challenged Stubby to take the down down without spilling a drop and if he had not laughed so much he might have succeeded.

The machine comes with no instructions but with strings attached, use with caution.

The SH3 Hash Environmental Committee were the last runners to return On Home, each had their own recycling story to tell. 

Our hosts for the run were 2 inches and She kneels, our unexpected Hare was none other than Too Mature who gave the Hounds a good run for their money.

Bling and 2 inches were our SH3 virgins for the month, we look forward to seeing you both on future runs

Hashers were delighted that Flower sang lots of songs

Lost and Found had to explain where he had been, but nobody cared as we were all about to be served with a delicious array of food. Special thanks to She Kneels, 2 inches and Wasabi who had hosted the Hash for the first time, its one which we will remember, On On

Thanks to Verbal Diarrhea for setting a challenging run with no hills, then Flower sang some very very rude songs 

Our virgin guests were Pity and Yoshitaka from Japan, welcome guys, drop in again

Members at the AGM, huge thanks to Too Mature and Crown Larger for their efforts over the last year and for continuing to serve us for another year. Catering was by Pot Luck and we all went home well fed
